Active within the Multi-Museum project are two experimentations concerning handheld devices use.


WIRELESS MUSEUM EXPERIMENTATION
Wireless Museum is an experimentation for the use of hand-held devices during the visit to the Museum's Temple Hall.

PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants represent an evolution of the common audio guide as they can vehicle multimedia contents and can be easily updated thanks to wireless connections, while also offering the visitor a much wider view of the museum's settings.

The Wireless Museum experimentation is made with the collaboration and support from HP-Compaq.
